The Kings Arms is located in the centre of the lovely village of Otterton in East Devon. There are plenty of thatched cottages, and a stream runs down beside the main road.
Much of their food produce is supplied from their own Greendale Farm Shop, which is near Farringdon on the road from Exeter to Newton Poppleford. The meat is reared on their farms, and the fish is caught by their own ‘day’ and ‘ocean-going’ boats.
By car: From Exeter, head East on the A3052 to Newton Poppleford, then turn right onto the B3178 towards Budleigh Salterton. Continue for 2½ miles past Colaton Raleigh and Bicton Park, then turn left to Otterton. The Kings Arms is in the centre of the village on the left. For parking, there is plenty of space at the back of the hotel.
By bus: From Exeter Sidwell Street Stop 19, take 57 bus at 10.00, arriving Exmouth Parade at 10.48. From Exmouth Parade, take the 157 bus at 11.00 bus, arriving Otterton at 11.35. Coming back, take 157 bus at 2.39 bus from Otterton, arriving Exmouth Parade at 3.14, and then take 57 bus at 3.20, arriving Exeter at 4.05 pm. The bus stops near the inn, then goes to the top of the village and comes back through the village – there is only one bus stop.
