EUC Exeter Branch Christmas Lunch on 6 December 2023
The photograph below shows 17 members of Exeter Branch after a most enjoyable Christmas Lunch in our regular meeting place, The Stables near Cowley Bridge. Our most efficient organiser Susie Hewitt had with great good fortune, chosen the first day without rain in early December for this event!
There was the usual lively chatter and exchange of cards as everyone gathered with their drinks in our specially decorated meeting room beforehand, enjoying the chance to catch up with each other’s news and plans. By the time mince pies and coffee arrived at the end of our leisurely meal, it was almost time for afternoon tea!
Thanks go to Susie for organising this happy event and to Chris Pashley for the photograph – as well as for getting to Exeter via the M4/M5 all the way from Surrey as the A303 was closed by floodwater!
