Julia Tremlett will give this talk on The National Gardens Scheme:  its origins, development and
how it is run today. Participants in the National Garden Scheme open their gardens –
large or small – on specific days each year and donate the money raised to
charitable causes. In 2022 over £3 million was donated in this way, supporting
mainly health, nursing and gardening charities.

Our speaker is one of those who open their gardens and we look forward to our private visit to Bickham House near Kenn in July this year.  For further details check out www.ngs.org.uk

Meet at The Stables for lunch from 12 noon. The illustrated talk begins at 2.00pm.
