Twelve of our members met up for lunch at the Smugglers Inn. It was a convivial gathering, with much lively conversation.
Many of us took advantage of the excellent carvery, and some of us enjoyed the range of local beers, but unfortunately one or two of us forgot to pay for their drinks! In future we must encourage members to pay for their food and drink when they place their orders.
At the end of our meal we were delighted to welcome Chris Pashley as a new member of Exeter Branch. He and his wife were having lunch in the Inn at a neighbouring table.
